We attach importance not only to the continuous improvement of the entire logistics process, which we undertake internally and thus have control over, but also to the optimisation of the entire logistics chain with interfaces - including suppliers and transport companies - also known as "supply chain management". The aim here is for our internal logistical processes to function optimally, harmonised with the external processes, such as via an IT connection (EDI).
At our manufacturing sites we have several warehouses with well-maintained, optimised inventories. We ensure optimal product availability for our customers. Our employees who have been with the company for many years working in logistics and in the inventory management system form the reliable pillars of our warehousing.
Fittings and pipes from the fields of gas supply, medical, and safety technology in particular must not be damaged during transport. In this respect our packaging is optimised and neutralised so that the products arrive safely for you or your customers.
For particularly sensitive units, we also employ specific, customised packaging that is tailored to the products, in order to achieve the best protection during transport.
For new products we coordinate this with our customers - for example in employing returnable packaging or to optimise the packaging quantities.
We are happy to package products with your label, cardboard packaging, or include your manuals, so that no additional in-house costs arise for you.
Depending on the requirements, for transport we use the most varied, most efficient routes via freight forwarders, parcel services, and express shipments. If there is a particular hurry for a transport, and timing is crucial, we also use couriers or direct delivery by our staff. Our flexibility is increased by individual agreements such as late pick-ups or our own delivery via parcel services.
Being well-trained in all customs formalities, our employees are also accustomed to handling transportation outside the EU. Throughout the logistics division we place special emphasis on proven, long-term partners that we are confident about collaborating with.
For our industrial customers we can also supply directly to the required site using the Kanban system. We will be happy to coordinate all of this with you in detail - just ask us.
